The pupils in the senior room are enthusiastically putting the finishing touches to their choral pieces for their upcoming performance at The Malton on Thursday February 12th. We are privileged to have Séan Treacy, son of our late friend Áine Ní Ghabhainn accompanying us on piano during our rehearsals. The performance begins at 8 p.m.

Tickets will be available at the door at a cost of €5 per person.

Our chosen pieces are “Top of the World” by Karen Carpenter and “Tears in Heaven” by Eric Clapton.

The grand finale will be a medley, with the other 9 participating schools.

We hope you can all join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of music and song.

Exciting times lay ahead for Kiltallagh National School Choir as preparations are being made to participate in a wonderful musical experience in Limerick in Term 3.

We will be singing alongside Moya Brennan from world renowned Irish Group ‘Clannad’, as well as some of the provinces finest musicians. More details of this event to follow in next month’s newsletter.
