Science Fair 2023-Catapulting Frogs!

Catapulting Frogs was the title of a curious 2^nd class boy’s project! Christian made his own catapults using re cyclable wooden teaspoons, elastic bands and plastic frogs. Some of the frogs had their tummies ‘surgically’ removed- which of course affected the distance the frogs would travel. Lilypad’s numbered 1-10 were placed on the floor and of course there was a competition to see who could catapult the most frogs on 10. And there was a Quality Street sweet for everyone in the audience for participation ! Needless to say our very well-behaved pupils wouldn’t dream of catapulting the frogs in the direction of staff!! Or would they... who knows?!!
