Sports Day 2022

On June 13th - as part of Active Week, the children had their annual Sports Day, coordinated by our resident PE Teacher Amy, in the gounds of Milltown Castlemaine GAA Pitch. There they enjoyed an amazing variety of fun games including obstacle courses, potato and spoon races, sack races and the favourite -wheel barrow races! A walk to the local shop for a delicious cold icecream was next and the day was completed with a trip to the Nagle Rice Community playground where they were able to expel any bit of energy that remained in their tired little bodies !
